OK, I can’t actually come through on any of those claims- we already have 12 Feet to wash… You should have asked sooner!
I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Triduum and a Happy Easter! I hope your Lent has gone well, and that you have cried every day, as all good Christians at Lent should do. I usually invoke my daily crying my chopping onions. Tears is tears folks!!!
I have been busy throughout Lent with the usual hearing of confessions, including hundreds of thousands of Religious Ed Kids at St. Joan of Arc in Powell, Ohio. You wouldn’t believe how much money laundering and mail fraud 2nd graders are into these days. (Kidding! Most kids are into Roth IRA’s these days which is a safe investment, so don’t worry moms!)
In addition to riding the confession circuit, Ada, Powell, Kenton, West Jeff, Mars, Pluto, Andromeda, Moons of Nebia (ST II reference), I have been touring the Diocese giving my Parish Retreats/Missions “The Four Phrases that will Change Your Life.” It has been a great success, as many people came back to the church and confession through this program after many years being away! Thanks to all the Pastors that brought me in.
Tell your pastor about it if you think I might be a good program for your parish! Would be good for a staff retreat, or volunteer retreat.
Well I am off to Holy Thursday preparations- I have never celebrated Holy Thursday before as the main celebrant. I hope people don’t have bunions.Or calloses… or warts… or weird toe nails. Imagine what Peter’s feet must have looked like? Eww…
